(USA)–The Association of Christian Schools International is calling their recent United States teacher recruiting fair a success. ACSI’s Becky Armstrong says they had a number of people seek information, but the need for teachers is still great. “We probably have a good 600 specific positions that are listed in our bulletin right now for this up coming year. Some of those positions are fully salaried. They provide transportation and benefits. Others would be partially salaried. And, then there’s a good number of them that require their teachers to raise their own support.” According to Armstrong, teachers have a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission. “Whether mission teachers actually sharing the Gospel with their students or whether they’re providing a much needed education for the children of missionaries, they are definitely partnering with the work of God in getting God’s truth and Gospel out there to the people that need it most.”
