“Find the lost”, that’s the calling behind the newest project launch for American Leprosy Mission. ALM’s Lance Renault says their work in Peru is a partnership that has life-changing possibilities. “Our friends at ABBA, Amazon Basin Benevolence Association, their principle role is going to be providing river transport. They will actually take government workers with them. They already have an agreement with the Ministry of Health. Health workers that travel with them will be trained in leprosy and they’ll be a witness to the Gospel.” Renault adds that through this approach, they can share the hope of Christ. “It essentially puts us right out where the people are through ABBA’s ministry. Pray first of all, that we can be an effective witness to people effected by leprosy; number two, that we can find people effected by leprosy.”
