(Myanmar)–Poverty and lack of resources are serious problems for Christians in Myanmar. According to East-West Ministries, because the country has many languages and severe poverty, most Christians don’t own a Bible. Christian literature is also scarce. East-West officials are asking people to consider funding the printing and distribution of books and Bibles. Workers say the people are desperately hungry for God’s word and this could have a huge impact on evangelism.
