(Afghanistan)–World Concern reports that northeastern Afghanistan has enough rainfall to produce a small harvest after years of extreme drought. The rain fell just in time, as the World Food Program, which supplies food for World Concern’s relief program, could only deliver part of the needed supplies. Yet, many of the families and returning refugees will need humanitarian aid in the months ahead. World Concern’s mission is sharing Christ’s love in word and deed with the poorest of families worldwide.
