(Uganda)–Meanwhile, a Christian humanitarian and relief organization is responding to a need to help children soldiers around the world. A new survey indicates there are more than half-a-million children who are recruited into militia groups in more than 87 countries around the world. World Vision has been asked by Unicef and the government of Uganda to provide care and reintegration of children released from military duty in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Pray this assistance will help heal these young people mentally, physically and spiritually.
