And finally, Christian Blind Mission International made history over the weekend. CBMI’s German based headquarters preformed its four-millionth cataract operation from the African continent. Not only was that historic, but they did it live on the internet. It was the first live transmission of a cataract operation from a third world country. Christian Blind Mission supports nearly 300 hospitals in Latin America, Asia and Africa – giving sight to the blind not only physically, but also spiritually.
