Summer missions trip in Ukraine wraps up.

Ukraine (MNN) — The Teen Missions team in Ukraine just wrapped up summer camp ministry.

Outreach has come a long way since the first Teen Missions Boot Camp in Ukraine began in 1992.

TMI started in the Odessa area and moved to the Kiev area in 1999.

The Boot Camp is run in the summer with the help of a summer team from the States. Aside from acting as counselors at the facility, the team did several projects to aid the facility in its work. They also stepped in at an orphanage to help out there.

The team finished the windows at the church, moved furniture into the orphanage, cleared land for a fence, did numerous repair jobs and built a sidewalk.

The helping hands were a testament to the message they shared with the kids. Many children responded to the Gospel, however, follow-up will be difficult as many of the kids come from difficult homes.

Continue to pray that the TMI outreach can help disciple the kids they reached this summer..

Excited to here this is still going strong. I was one of those teens that travelled to Odessa the first time in 1992. My thoughts are with this place always.
