Russia (MNN) — The love of Christ is covering Western Russia, Siberia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine this week, as Global Aid Network’s Winter Project 2006 is underway.
More than 68 volunteers from across the USA have been split into teams and will spend two weeks in various locations and countries across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The teams will be working with local churches to deliver humanitarian aid to orphanages, schools and societies.
Just as people all over Russia and Siberia are hungry for food, they are also hungry for the truth of Jesus Christ. The GAiN-USA teams are helping to meet those needs.
Pray for all the teams as they serve and minister to people’s needs, that God would work in and through them to make a lasting impact on people’s lives.
