A bookbus takes the Gospel to people in Romania.

By December 16, 2005

Romania (MNN)–Operation Mobilization reports good news from a recent trip with the Mobile Bookbus in Romania.

The team visited five cities throughout the country, bringing Christian books to people who would not normally come to a Christian bookshop or to church.

One team member urges prayer for those they came into contact with, that their lives would be touched. He writes, “We were thrilled to see people coming onto the bus, some buying books, some just wanting to look at what was available, some wanting to pray for the ministry and others wanting to talk.”

They’re also hoping that the local churches would have more of an understanding of OM, its work and mission. That also came through when people responded more generously than thought. Team members were thrilled to see so many donations, especially earmarked to help the situation in Pakistan and other missions activities. We’re told that, “From a country that has little we felt like the giving was big and it warmed our hearts.”

As the people respond to the Gospel, pray it takes hold with great fruit.
