A ministry broadens to reach out to troubled women in Romania.

Romania (MNN)–The ministry of IN Network in Romania began in 1992. At first, teams emphasized on the south and east of Romania, where there is an insignificant evangelical witness.

Ministry to the Romanian youth was also targeted as a key to spiritual renewal of the country. But then another need emerged.

In the chaos following Communism, the women suffered the backlash of the upheaval. As their families struggled to cope with economic, political and spiritual changes, some became troubled.

That’s when IN Network responded with the ARK Ministry. Today, many women have turned to them to receive counseling and support.

The center also runs Bible study groups where the women are enriched and encouraged to grow spiritually.

At a special meeting put on specifically for non-Christian women, nearly all who were invited participated in the conference.

As a result of that gathering, at least two came to Christ. Discipleship will be a natural outgrowth of the center’s outreach.

It’s advancing a fresh vision for the ministry, especially among the new emerging professional Christian leaders.
