A New Testament translation to be dedicated.

By July 8, 2005

Papua New Guinea (MNN)–Wuvulu Island is one of the most remote parts of Papua New Guinea.

It is in these areas that Wycliffe Bible Translators have made remarkable progress in bringing the Scriptures to these islanders in their own tongue.

In fact, Wycliffe Associates, a partnering group that helps translation efforts, reports that dedication ceremonies are set for July 17 for Papua New Guinea’s Wuvulu New Testament.

Following the dedication, there will be a week-long course in Scripture Application and Leadership Training (SALT).

Pray the dedication will be an honor to the Lord. Pray Wuvulu pastors and church leaders who attend the course will learn to apply the Scriptures to their personal lives as well as to teach them to others.
