USA (MNN)–Southern Baptists churches across the United States are in the midst of their annual International Missions Emphasis.

A radio broadcast this month will feature the strength of God’s work around the world through the Southern Baptist International Mission Board workers.

Listeners in 13 states can tune in to hear IMB President Jerry Rankin and Senior Vice President Avery Willis give a brief update on what’s happening on the evangelistic front.

Church growth is accelerating through the more than 5,500 missionaries working with nearly 15-hundred people groups. IMB workers in one area reported as many as 900-thousand people decided to follow Christ in the last three years. Additionally, in just one area of this same country, research indicates church growth has accelerated to more than 1,000 congregations over the last five years.

The program airs Tuesday, December 16th at 2pm on the Bott Radio Network. Stations in the Bott network are located in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and California.
