A vibrant outreach tags missionary kids.

By October 20, 2005

International (MNN)–Wycliffe Associates calls one of their most vibrant ministries KidZone International.

This particular project touches families by ministering to missionary children. Bible translation staff around the world gather for vital times of learning, spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and planning.

While parents are involved with regional language missionary conferences, KidZone teams offer a Vacation Bible School that helps keep the kids learning.

Not only do these Wycliffe Associates volunteers serve the spiritual needs of the children of these translators, but they also make it possible for their parents to participate in their own conference.

Through it, the team members are able to provide a direct impact on Bible translation. Teams are needed all year round for two to three weeks at a time. Eight teams are being assembled for ministry during 2006.

The countries involved include: Peru, Vanuatu, Ethiopia, Eastern Congo, Cameroon, Mediterranean, Mexico and Papua New Guinea.
