Congo-Kinshasa (MNN)–The Congo, located in the heart of the African continent, is Grace Ministries International’s oldest and largest mission field.

GMI reports one of their staff members flew to the Democratic Republic of Congo this week to teach a course at Kindu Bible College. He will also be working with the churches and leaders during his stay.

Please pray for safety and effective ministries for the team as they travel to Kindu, Kipaka, and Kama. Five missionaries work with the national church organization in the areas of evangelism, church planting, education, medical work, and community development projects.

A large medical center has recently been built in a Muslim area where the first church has been planted in an unreached people group.

One teacher training college, 27 high schools, and 130 grade schools are run by the national church. More than 400 churches have been planted in this country.
