Bulgaria (MNN)–KidsGames hosts mini sporting events that involve local churches and community to reach out to children.
In Bulgaria, churches will be leading the Games, encouraging unreached kids to participate. Along with sporting activities there is a time of Bible study. As one of the tools, the teams use The JESUS Film Project for Children.
The movie shows the story of Jesus through the eyes of six children who witness His life on earth, death, and eventually believe in His resurrection.
Teams are preparing well in advance. Prior to their visit, local partners will launch an advertisement campaign on local and national TV and radio stations.
Another partner is The Book of Hope. They will be participating in bi-monthly camps in conjunction with KidsGames and Scripture Union. That campaign launches March 26th and ends June 15th.
The hope in 2006 and 2007 is that the Book of Hope can be distributed at many of the KidsGames events.
