Christians are hopeful for change in Haiti that will reopen ministry opportunities.

Haiti (MNN) — The ministry of Christian World Outreach in Haiti has been impacted severely by the ongoing political instability and chaos in that Caribbean country.

In recent years, many ministry activities haven’t taken place as usual. The two Vacation Bible School programs held last summer had to be run without the American volunteers who usually help out and shower love and kindness on the children.

But this year, CWO is hopeful for a change. They’re planning to take a short-term team to Haiti later next month to help with the VBS program. There are still openings for that trip, which runs from July 22-29, 2006.

More information on the trip is listed on the MNN homepage. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the Mission Trip in Focus. Or contact Christian World Outreach for more information.
