Conference grounds offers rest to missionaries

By April 27, 2005

USA (MNN) — When missionaries come home from the field, many are tired. They worked hard while on the field and when they come home they have more hard work ahead of them. They travel from city to city visiting churches and supports. It gets tiring fast.

Because of a generous donor, the United States-based Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference is providing an incredible week to get rest and relaxation at a reduced rate. A vacation that would typically cost up to $2,000 is being offered for just $200.

Maranatha is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan just south of Muskegon, Michigan. This wonderful vacation is being offered to Christians working in full-time foreign mission fields. It’s only being offered August 13 – 20 and August 27 – September 2.

Perhaps you have a family serving overseas who will be home during those weeks and would like to help them recharge not only with rest and relaxation, but with wonderful conference speakers and quality music, call 231-798-2161 or go to their website http://www.Marathan-bmc.org.
