Dubbing studio ready to share the Gospel in the Arab world

Egypt (MNN) — A dubbing studio in Egypt could help make SAT-7’s outreach more effective.

With 15-percent of SAT-7’s programs are dubbed into Arabic from other languages. High quality films and cartoons produced in the west are the most commonly dubbed items on SAT-7’s broadcasts.

Dubbing is an expensive and time-consuming process. For over a year SAT-7’s Egypt studio has just started operating. So far, it’s dubbed two programs into Arabic. By having their own dubbing facility, SAT-7 should be able to save a great deal of money, and be able to increase the number of quality Christian programs dubbed into Arabic.

SAT-7, Christian television for the Middle East and North Africa, is asking people to pray for wisdom for the staff as they contract the people and technology needed to get this facility operating at full capacity. Pray too that many people come to Christ as they listen to the programming.
