By July 28, 2006

Kenya (MNN) — A month ago, Mission Network News told you about a Christian Hospital in Kenya run by World Gospel Mission. Each year Tenwek Hospital provides care for millions of people in southwestern Kenya. It’s called hospital care with a Gospel focus.

Tenwek Hospital recently dedicated a new 19,000 square foot facility which will do a lot to help expand their work. More people and more conditions will be able to be treated.

However, that work has been on hold as two containers filled with medical supplies to fill the new space were being held in customs. We asked you to pray.

You did and this week we received word that one of the containers was delivered to Tenwek. WGM’s Russ White says while the supplies and equipment will help provide treatment to thousands, but will also allow them to train doctors across the east African area.

Not only that, the added space and technology, White says they’ll be able to reach even more people with the Gospel, which is paramount.
