Foor For The Poor reaches out to a new community in Guyana.

By November 24, 2004

Guyana (MNN)-Food For The Poor is branching out with a new project for an isolated village in Guyana.

A housing and distribution program is being set up for an Amerindian Village. It is a community that is abandoned by many other groups. The new project includes some 40 new homes, a community center, a sanitation project and then the distribution of food and supplies.

Food For The Poor is using the project as an opportunity to show the hope of Christ and help provide for material needs. They are planning to complete the new village in January of 2005.

Pray that the people of the village will sense the love of Christ and their need to accept Him as their Savior.
