Fund set up in memory of US missionary workers killed in Uganda.

Uganda (MNN/ANS) — Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a missionary couple in Uganda. Amin Aruma, a member of a local defense force, was arrested about 10 miles from the training center where Warren and Donna Pett and a student were gunned down on March 18th.

The Petts were missionaries with Africa Inland Mission teaching at the Esther Evangelical School of Technology northwest of Kampala. The families of the two Americans want ministry to continue. So, they've set up a fund in their memory to help assure the work moves forward in the troubled East African Nation.

The announcement of the memorial fund came after an estimated 1,000 friends and family members gathered at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wis. Saturday, March 27, to recall a couple whose faith lead them from being a dairy farmer in the U-S to helping to teach agriculture in Africa.
