Gunmen attack Christian radio station in Nairobi, Kenya.

Kenya (MNN)–Kenya’s church leaders are condemning last Friday’s deadly attack on Christian radio station, Hope FM.
Masked gunmen burst into the Nairobi studios shortly after a broadcast in Swahili comparing teachings of the Bible and the Koran. One died in the attack, three were injured, and set the building on fire.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack, but there are demands for an intermediate peace council while an investigation goes on.

Although Hope FM resumed broadcasting early Saturday morning, the team is badly shaken.

According to Hope FM’s website, their target listener is an educated young adult with a passion for excellence, a desire to a better life, better relationships, health, and better quality lifestyle, which is why they work to instil the hope of Christ in their lives.

Pray that ministry will continue, despite the threat of violence and uncertainty.
