Harvest coming after summer seeding in Brazil.

By November 3, 2006

Brazil (MNN)–Seeds planted this summer at camp are bearing fruit in Brazil.

At one camp, sponsored by a partner of Back to the Bible’s, 65 teenagers attended, and many accepted Christ. In another outreach, 1800 students made decisions.

The ministry itself is strategically located in the largest city (Sao Paulo) of the world’s fifth most populous nation. That allows access to a listening audience whose spiritual upbringing comes from a religious smorgasbord from which millions of Brazilians pick and choose their personal beliefs and worldview.

Verdade Biblica (Biblical Truth) often hears from young people who use the radio ministry for discipleship help. Their outreach includes daily radio Bible teaching, on-line Bible studies, e-mail devotionals, a Web site and television program.

Response to Verdade Biblica’s evangelical thrust has grown nearly 300% in the last 12 months.
