Help on the way for tortured Christians in China.

By November 11, 2003

China (MNN) — A martyr has been defined as “a Christian who chooses to suffer death rather than deny Christ or His work…One who sacrifices something very important to further the Kingdom of God…and endures great suffering for Christian witness.”

According to Asia Harvest, In China today Christians are regularly beaten, tortured and even killed because they love Jesus. House church leaders have described more than 1,000 leaders who have been crippled as a result of torture by authorities.

Asia Harvest has established the “China Living Martyrs Fund” to assist them. Many pastors are unable to work because of their injuries. They and their families face extreme poverty and hardship.

You can help support one or more of these living martyers with a gift of $25 per month. A prayer card will be sent to every regular supporter of this project.
