El Salvador (MNN)–Operation Mobilization teams in Central America are celebrating success from an event last month.
OM workers from across the region came together for a special outreach in El Salvador. Hundreds of local church members united to bring people face to face with Jesus.
“It is difficult to explain or even sum up what God did in our Central American countries through the outreach,” writes Eric Eduardo Hurtado from OM El Salvador. “There was,” he explains, “a sense of unity between the countries. When we started to dream about ‘Love Trifinio 2005,’ we saw many factors of influence, positive as well as negative.”
The events were bathed in prayer. “We are now giving glory to God for the amazing effort the team and local churches in Trifinio showed while working with us.”
During the week, around 560 people gave their lives to Christ. They will be discipled by local church members. 100,000 pieces of Gospel literature were distributed along with study material to help churches continue the work.
