IBS ministry encompasses thousands in Argentina.

Argentina (MNN)–The International Bible Society is engaged in full-scale ministry in Argentina.

From the outreach to the hundreds of street children, to ministry in the children’s hospitals, all the way to the prisons of Argentina, IBS teams continue to serve the suffering.

Partnering with local churches, IBS teams distributed 1,000 copies of the children’s New Testament to young people at the Garrahan Hospital.

Other teams provided Scripture materials for local churches to give to children at risk. This fiscal year IBS will reach 100,000 children–children who desperately need hope and a future–with the Word of God.

IBS will minister in affiliation with organizations that provide street children shelter, food and loving care. Local churches work to provide the love of Christ and the hope of eternal life.

Meanwhile, 16,050 inmates in prisons in the Province of Buenos Aires saw IBS volunteers provide both Scripture portions, discipleship and follow-up. Pray recipients respond to Jesus’ call on their lives. Pray for the impact of this work and especially for those involved with the direct outreach.

In Argentina, IBS supplies Bibles, New Testaments, and Scripture leaflets for ministry.
