Ireland (MNN)–Men For Missions, the laymen’s voice of OMS International is gearing up a prayer team headed for Ireland next week.

The team reportedly plans on assisting OMS’ Ireland missionary team in public evangelism and discipleship during their visit.

It’s the opportunity to reflect on nearly a decade of hard work. Beginning in 1997, OMS’ vision in Ireland was still in the pioneering stage. At present, work is limited to evangelism and partnerships with other organizations to plant Irish churches.

The missionary team, Larry and Marian Byrnes, is involved in friendship evangelism, discipleship, and partnership with existing Irish churches. One of their objectives is to facilitate church planting in areas of the country where a need exists.
