Lights are on at Haven of Hope

Ghana (MNN)–Every Child Ministries is celebrating a highlight this month.

Just a week ago, the lights went on at their orphanage, Haven of Hope. The children and staff are now blessed with solar-generated electricity.

Described as ‘high energy’, on the night the lights were connected, the kids ran around turning on every light. Gone are the dangers of kerosene lanterns tipping over and starting a fire.

On another front, the team has revised and improved the statement of educational philosophy for the school and is just such a help in so many ways. The official opening of Haven Academy has been set for January 4th, and the Board is busy preparing.

ECM shows the love of Christ to the neediest of African children in practical ways and trains African nationals to ministry.
