Many planning Christmas outreach

International (MNN) — With Christmas coming in a few days, many Christians are planning Christmas related outreach.

On our website, MissionNetworkNews.org, we asked the question: As Christmas approaches, what will you do to share Christ? According to the unscientific survey, 41-percent of you said you’ll be sending out Christmas cards with a Christian message this holiday as a way to share the Gospel. 32-percent of you said you would be helping the homeless or poor. But, 17-percent of you said you hadn’t really thought about it. Seven-percent said Christmas caroling at the homes of unsaved friends and neighbors is what you’ll be doing.

We’d like to encourage you to make this time of year a time to reach out with the message of the Gospel. You can invite someone over to watch the Jesus Film, send a tract, volunteer at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen, or visit someone who is alone during the holidays as this time of year can be the loneliest for people who have lost loved ones.
