Afghanistan (MNN)–CURE International has a new medical director at their hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Dr. Jacqui Hill has been working as the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the hospital in Kabul. Colleagues credit her with helping to extensively design the maternity unit and train residents and midwives.

Before Afghanistan, Dr. Jacqui Hill also spent time in Sudan as a medical relief worker, and also in Bangladesh.

Her medical studies are matched by an extensive educational background and experience in training, management and international health.

The CURE hospital in Kabul contains a comprehensive women’s healthcare center providing care to nearly 10,000 patients each month.

According to information from their website, family medicine is the primary focus of the hospital. However, they also offer an internal medicine service, general, plastic and orthopedic surgical care, and pediatrics with a dedicated feeding unit for children suffering from malnutrition.

Ultimately, as a faith-based organization, CURE shares their hope in Christ and provides help for the hopeless.
