Ministry co-founder now with the Lord she served

By October 10, 2006

USA (MNN) — Little Samaritan Mission co-founder and beloved wife and mother Lidiana PindicBlaj went to be with the Lord Saturday September 30, 2006, ending her heroic battle with cancer. Lidiana leaves a legacy of service to her fellow man, an inspiration to all those that knew her.

At the age of 28 she left a promising career as a soloist in the Arad philharmonic to co-found the Little Samaritan Mission with her husband Florin. For the next 22 years she was the cornerstone of his ministry that has touched countless people in eastern Europe.

After she was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and while the disease was still manageable she began working on a solo album. She continued to work on this album until she was no longer able to sing in June of this year. Her love for music was second only to her love for serving others through LSM.

Her partially completed album will be released later this year as a tribute to her life. Florin Pindicblaj says, “Thank you to all those who supported Lidiana and her family during this very difficult period. Please continue to pray for those that she left behind who miss her greatly.”

Memorial gifts can be made at LittleSamaritan.org.
