Opening hearts and homes…Buckner connects families with orphan children.

By April 24, 2006

China (MNN) — Buckner Orphan Care International’s goal is to connect families with children who need a loving, Christian home.

They’ve recently expanded their service for adoptions from China. Since 1999, Buckner International Adoption has helped facilitate adoptions from China for families living only in Texas, but now they’ve opened it to all 50 states in the USA.

The US State Department reports that, in 2005, American families adopted from China more than from any other country, giving homes to nearly 8000 Chinese orphans. Buckner’s Debbie Wynne says that one of the reasons for that is because China is more consistent in their adoption process. Their adoption system is more predictable and stable.

They’re excited about the possibilities for helping connect more Christian families with orphan children who need homes where they can experience the love of Jesus.

Buckner is seeking families to adopt infants and toddlers, and some special needs children under four years old. If you would like more information about adoption through Buckner International Adoption, contact them through their information listed below.
