Orphans and the poor in need in Moldova

Moldova (MNN) — While Little Samaritan Mission is a Christian radio broadcast network in Romania and Moldova, it’s also a mission that’s reaching out to the needs of orphaned and poor children in Moldova.

Little Samaritan’s Florin Pindicblaj says this Christmas season they’re reaching out thanks to the help you gave them in the summer and fall for their ‘Face of a Child’ ministry. “6,500 packages were made for ‘Face of a Child.’ We had pictures of the children we gave them to the sponsors and to the churches. We loaded containers and they are in Moldova now waiting to be distributed, plus we have expanded to the poor villages.”

Moldova is one of the poorest nations in Europe, says Pindicblaj. “No clothes, no school supplies to go to school and through ‘Face of a Child’ we are reaching those children.”

This kind of outreach is pointing many children to Christ and many are giving their hearts to Christ.

While the ‘Face of a Child’ program is over for the year, Little Samaritan needs your help for their soup kitchen ministry. “The 1st of October we reopened the soup kitchen and it was a great joy to see those people who really depend on that bowl of soup.” This is giving them even more opportunities to share the Gospel.
