Planning ahead for a Christmas ministry in Haiti.

By October 21, 2003

Haiti (MNN)–Nine years to the day after U.S. troops restored President Jean-Bertrande Aristide to power, Haiti erupted into demonstrations, strikes and riots.

The unrest highlights the daily struggle for survival throughout the island nation. In answer to the increased struggle, For Haiti With Love is gearing up for its year-end events.

They are scheduling cargo shipments from now through December for their Christmas party in Haiti. That includes gifts, party supplies, and food. Space is at a premium in shipping, as the volume of things shipped by other missionaries and by the Haitians living in America increases.

The annual party is just one aspect of outreach in this country. Through their gifts and other programs, the Haitians feel the tangible love of Christ opening doors for evangelistic ministry.
