USA (MNN)–Promise Keepers’ president Tom Fortson, recently presented the first “Transformation Award” to S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A Restaurant founder.

It was part of last week’s “Unleashed” men’s conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The award set the tone for the conference, recognizing Cathy for his dedication to changing community for the better.

A 21-inch sculpture, the award (entitled ‘Freedom’) honored Cathy’s “lifetime of transforming family, community, workplace, and most importantly, the lives of the next generation.” The Transformation Award also references the scripture II Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

Promise Keepers works to unite men in affecting change as they become passionate followers of Christ.
