Romanian pastors need sponsors to help them attend a conference.

Romania (MNN) — Greater Europe Mission is praying that a pastors conference in Romania will encourage these dedicated workers as they reach out with the Gospel.

GEM’s EuroTeam Outreach is organizing a conference for Romanian pastors April 20-24. They need people to sponsor those who attend. 40 sponsorships at $150 each are needed. The goal of the conference is to bless and edify these hard-working pastors, who on average pastor five to seven churches at once.

Pray for Romania. The country has Europe’s third highest population of Evangelicals, but the number of evangelical believers has not grown substantially since 1990. Since 1989, Romania has seen a sustained church planting movement, with an average of five new church buildings opening every week until 1999. Only a lack of human and material resources prevents this from continuing at such a rate.

Pray too for Mission Network News as we continue broadcasting throughout Romania on Little Samaritan Mission’s network of radio stations. Pray that we’ll encourage even more believers to get involved in outreach.
