SAT-7 PARS unveils new Web site

By May 20, 2010

International (MNN) — Iran has a high number of Internet users for a Middle Eastern country of its size. Despite restrictions, some studies indicate that approximately 48% of its population regularly uses the Internet. According to the same studies, in Egypt (a country of similar size), only around 21% of the population regularly uses the Internet.

SAT-7 PARS believes in reaching as many viewers as possible and recently upgraded its Web site (www.sat7Pars.com). The new site includes samples of SAT-7 programs, a complete Bible in Farsi which users can read or download, a place where basic questions about the faith are answered, and much more.

SAT-7 PARS leaders believe the new site will provide a dynamic new way for viewers to interact with the channel. Plans are also being made to include a section designed exclusively for children who watch the channel.
