Security threatens some missionaries in Zambia

By March 26, 2004

Zambia (MNN) — Armed bandits are having an impact on missionary work in Zambia. Grace Ministries International reports that the incidents started with a missionary couple there in January. They attacked the home of Jeff and Sally Roth.

A month later the bandits attacked another home close to another missionary family and killed the owner of the house. As they tried to escape, one of the robbers was killed and another wounded and is now in prison.

Please pray for missionaries in the region as they not only deal with threats of violence, but also as they deal with the many people who are suffering from HIV/AIDS. Pray that through their ministry and commitment to them, many will turn to Christ.
