(India)–The fear of war between India and Pakistan tops today’s news this New Year. Troops are massing along a cease fire line in disputed Kashmir and war is in the air. However, that fear isn’t stopping efforts to evangelize the Dalit population of India. Bibles for the World’s Rochunga Pudaite. “We are going to change a little bit of a gear by having intensive training in order to put missionaries in at least 30 communities around New Deli, at the beginning. And, then we want to put at least 300 churches surrounding New Deli.” Pudaite believes they can reach the Dalit people quickly. “There are 300,000 untouchable outcast villages. If our experience in North East India can be repeated I know that within two years we’ll have a church in each one of these communities with no less than 100 members.” Pudaite is praying that there will be an endless flow of Bibles for all that request them.
