Headlining today’s news, there’s an international effort to end 11 days of bloodshed in Israel. The United Nations, the United States and Russia are trying to organize a peace summit. Christians for Israel’s Willem Glashouwer is in Israel and describes how the violence is affecting their work. “There were some stones thrown at and some fires were ignited. You have to be careful, but over all we can do with our ministry whatever we like. And, it’s just refrained to some certain small areas around the Temple Mountain, around Remallah and some other places.” Glashouwer is encouraging people to pray that many of these Muslims, promoting violence, will be saved. “Pray that the Lord will break these powers of Islam so that these people are freed and can see who the true God is and can come to real inner peace and freedom through Jesus Christ.”
