(India) — Headlining today’s news, while most television networks are no longer showing pictures of earthquake ravaged India, the needs there are still great. January’s earthquake in Gujarat left hundreds of thousands homeless. Operation Mobilization‘s Peter Dance says the quake has done much to help Christians share their faith. “They’re preaching the Gospel in a very powerful way by Christians going in and bringing comfort and these people are seeing it and reading it loud and clear. We would not have been able to so clearly and so well been accepted by the average man in the street without this earthquake happening.” According to Dance there’s a great need for volunteer doctors and nurses and funding so they can do more. “We have found quite a few that have not received anything. And, our teams going out doing surveys and some areas or districts which has received very little or none at all and we are desirous to reach out to them.” Call 800-899-0432 to help.
