(India)–We begin today’s newscast in India, where evangelical ministries are awaiting word on whether or not their workers are safe. Christian Blind Mission International’s Rolf Muggenburg (MOO-gehn-BOORG). “In Ahmedabod, we have no losses of life, but a lot of destruction at the facilities. The situation seems to be worse in Bhuj. Here we’ve heard nothing, but we only know that nearly 90-percent in that area have been destroyed and here most of the death toll has been reported.” Muggenburg says funding is needed to help rebuild, assuring physical and spiritual assistance continues. “We have to restructure, we have renovate, so that the services can restart again. Of course these people have to look for their loved ones before they think of restarting their programs.”
