We begin today in India, where there have been not only two churches bombings, but also a murder. The incidents have raised concern among Christians in the state about their safety. Operation Mobilization’s Joseph D’Souza. “The Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh called us and in no uncertain terms he told us that he would protect the Christians and, to give us assurance, he called a press conference and gave us the opportunity directly to be in touch with him. What is concerning us is the battle of the violence that is going in north Indian states and now spreading all over the place.” D’Souza adds the persecution doesn’t stop the Gospel. “Brother George, working in a school, has been killed, and the council observers who went there said that he was one of the most horrific martyrdoms that has taken place. Our work in Gujarat has been severely hampered-our teams have been brutally beaten up, but people are coming to faith in Jesus Christ.”
