(Liberia)–Elsewhere, Liberia’s media is reporting an unusual approach by Christians to the persecution they are suffering. Participants in the “Liberia for Jesus Prayer Crusade” have declared a state of emergency, not in a political faction, but in a biblical way. Church leaders from many denominations called on Liberians to bury their differences from a twelve-year oppression and work towards peace. The rally precedes a three-day prayer time from February 22nd through the 24th focusing on repentance, reconciliation and restoration.
