(Congo)–Next, World Vision’s aid workers are afraid of a potential outbreak of cholera in the Democratic Republic of Congo. More than 350-thousand refugees fled Goma following a volcanic eruption that obliterated the area. Sanitation conditions are dismal, similar to those that led to the 1994 epidemic that killed thousands. World Vision is helping with supplying temporary housing, food and water. In doing so, the group is sharing the love of Christ as they reach out to the refugees.
