(Indonesia)–Meanwhile, AMG International’s Paul Jenks says the doors are open to a widespread outreach in troubled Indonesia. Jenks says they’re looking into a partnership with the Far East Broadcasting Company. “Because the economy is so troubled, many of the radio stations have been really stressed financially. They’ve been able to buy three of those radio stations, and there’s a fourth one that’s in negotiation. We, at AMG, are in the process of praying about joining hands with them to do broadcasting on an FM station in Jakarta.” Jenks says because of the persecution that exists in Indonesia, he asks for support for the Indonesian church. “We need the prayers of people here in US and around the world, actually, for the Christian leaders there in Indonesia. They’re under so much stress. They realize the opportunities are great on one hand, and yet, on the other hand, they have to be very wise in how overt their evangelism actually is.”
