Story number 2 for 7 Aug 2002

(India)–Next, Christian Aid Mission reports that harassment appears to be growing in Northern India. Over the last few days, there have been reports of indigenous missionaries being beaten and threatened. Police in one area took a missionary and four other church members into custody on apparent false accusations. In another area, a missionary and his family were attacked and beaten by a tribal group with whom they had been sharing the Gospel. Please pray for that the missionaries’ faith would be a testimony to the peace of Christ.
