(USA)–Next, thousands of people are hearing the Gospel as part of the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association’s “Mission Connecticut” campaign. The festival type event winds down this weekend. Luis Palau says evangelistically, the event has been incredible. “Besides the 110,000 or something that we’ve talked to publicly and over 7,000 have made a commitment to the Lord Jesus. To think of an investment banker, a very influential media man was converted, a three star general. So it’s been a glorious harvest.” Palau has been reaching out to the youth of America in recent years. He explains why. “Frankly, adults 50 and over are some of the hardest segments of the population. They hardly turn out. Very few make a commitment, whereas the young people are wide open. It seems like their consciences are more tender to the Holy Spirit. They listen. They respond.”
