(Afghanistan)–Next, Habitat for Humanity International is helping the people of Afghanistan reconstruct their houses and their lives. The group is donating building materials and tools to returning refugees as part of HFHI’s Afghanistan Response initiative, with a base in Mazar-e-Sharif. Over the next two years, Habitat hopes to help 25-thousand families. By meeting the physical needs, Habitat for Humanity International workers open doors to meet spiritual needs and share the hope of Christ.
