(Ukraine) — A evangelistic campaign has been halted by government officials in Ukraine. The regional authorities in the city of Dnepropetrovsk (nyep-ROH-peh-trofsk), banned a street evangelism campaign organized by Jews for Jesus and a local church. According to Keston News, officials claimed the campaign failed to get the necessary approval prior to the event, required for any mass event in the city. Jews for Jesus workers were detained by police, but were released without being charged.
